Often, the simplest products are simply the coolest…
I stumbled across this the other day and thought it MUST be shared.
This Mug would make a great gift for many people I know. But more importantly, it got me thinking about how I wish more products helped to “clear-the-room” of any awkwardness and just allow for open conversation about the funny things food can do to us. Or at least state the obvious things that so many of us forget when cooking up a meal.
There needs to be some sort of t-shirt or random culinary gizmo that mentions the intense side effects of garlic consumption. I would love to see a chef’s knife with “Damn this is sharp”, written on the blade. What about some baking trays or cassorile pans that simply say “Use a mitt, DUMBASS.”
Maybe these products would only be relevant to me…YES, I get crazy gas from garlic, I am constantly slicing my fingers, and I have grabbed a hot dish right out of a 400 degree oven more times than I think I should admit (yep, I am pretty sure my in-laws think I am a complete moron).
I think it would be nice if there was an easy way of reminding ourselves about the obvious potential side effects of the foods we eat or the kitchen gadgets we use. The air might then be less stinky, and band-aids would not always have to be on the shopping list.
